ABOUT US
Broad Creek Middle School is located on the beautiful Crystal Coast in Newport, North Carolina. The Band program at BCMS enjoys a strong tradition of musical excellence with over 200 students participating in band each year. Students at Broad Creek Middle participate in a variety of performing opportunities that showcase their talent including concert band, pep band, and jazz ensemble. Students have been selected to participate in the Eastern All-District Band, the Regional Jazz Ensemble, and All-State Honors Bands here in North Carolina. The seventh and eighth grade bands consistently receive superior ratings at the NC Bandmasters Association Music Performance Adjudication.
